Then someone said the obvious: “What if we just did pizza and burgers… and did them better than anyone else?”

Fortify was born around three words that still run the place:

The pizza comes two ways—our house-invented butter crust that somehow makes everything better, or a Chicago-style crispy tavern crust that snaps the way it should. Build your own or grab one of our creations. The burgers are American Wagyu, smashed hard, stacked with fresh produce on a bun that knows its job. Nothing fancy. Just done right.
And because one of the founders has been a water baby his entire life and the islands are his happy place, we stuck a real Road Town Rum Bar inside. Proper BVI vibes. Cold drinks. Zero pretension.
First stop was Clayton, Georgia—a small mountain town that somehow turned into a full-blown Fortify love affair. Now we’re building the kind of place that works for date night, family night, and the night you need to look like a hero. One location is getting a full entertainment floor with kick-ass video games, golf simulators, mini bowling, darts, and whatever else keeps the good times rolling. Corporate parties, birthday bashes, “just because” gatherings—Fortify makes the host the star of the show.
The goal? Become the premier pizza-and-burger spot in the Southeast… and, if the wind is right, a little further than that.
